The Borough Council of the Borough of Gettysburg shall hold a public hearing to be conducted on Monday, October 24, 2022, commencing at 6:30 p.m., in the Borough Council Chambers at the Gettysburg Borough Municipal Office Building located at 59 East High Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
The purpose of the public hearing is for the Borough Council to obtain public comment relative to its intention to enact an ordinance pursuant to Act 172 of 2016, as amended, authorizing and establishing certain credits against tax liability imposed by annual earned income and real estate taxes, as levied by the Borough of Gettysburg, as incentives for the use and benefit of certain individuals who qualify as active volunteers for the provision of fire protection services in the Borough as provided by and through the Gettysburg Fire Department.
