2018 Historic Preservation Awards

Gettysburg Celebrates Historic Preservation!

On Monday May 14, 2018 the Gettysburg Borough Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB) and the Department of Planning, Zoning and Historic Preservation honored fourteen (14) properties in the Gettysburg Historic District at our annual Historic Preservation Awards ceremony. HARB selected from among  228 projects which applied for approval and were completed during the 2016 and 2017 calendar years. Those chosen for special recognition serve as shining examples of historic preservation work within the district. Each of these beautiful buildings successfully passed HARB review and were granted a Certifcate of Appropriateness (COA) by Borough Council.
