Code Enforcement Appeals Board

In 2010, Borough Council dissolved the Regulated Rental Unit Appeals Board, the Property Maintenance Appeals Board and the Board of Code Enforcement Appeals. In its place, Council created the Code Enforcement Appeals Board, which acts as the Borough's judicial appeals process for all code violations. If a resident, property owner, or business owner receives a code notice of violation and feels the violation was issued in error or has other extenuating circumstances, the matter can be heard by the Code Enforcement Appeals Board for further disposition. Board members serve alternating five-year terms.
