ACT 15 NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING

The Borough Council of the Borough of Gettysburg shall hold a special meeting and shall conduct a public hearing on Monday, February 22, 2021, commencing at 6:30 p.m., prevailing time. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Borough Council to receive information from the Applicant, Sign of the Buck, LLC, and to receive any comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing within the Borough of Gettysburg, as the receiving municipality, concerning the request of the Applicant for the intermunicipal transfer of a Restaurant Liquor License (License No. R-18873; LID 38048), previously issued to the Park Hotel, Inc. for use at licensed premises within the Borough of New Oxford, Adams County, Pennsylvania, for the proposed transfer and use by the Applicant as permitted under the Pennsylvania Liquor Code, at premises located within the Borough of Gettysburg at 27 Chambersburg Street. During the special meeting the Borough Council may also render a decision to either approve or disapprove the request of the Applicant for the proposed intermunicipal transfer of the liquor license to premises within the Borough of Gettysburg.                                                                       

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 disaster emergency, the public hearing and special meeting of the Borough Council will be conducted by means of telecommunications devices using the remote platform Zoom. For purposes of accessibility by the public, the Borough Council public hearing and special meeting will be broadcast via live streaming by Community Media, www.communitymedia.net, as well as via the “Gettysburg Borough” Facebook page. Gettysburg Borough residents and/or taxpayers of the Borough desiring to participate by providing comments or recommendations at the public hearing and special meeting must preregister with the Borough no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, February 22, 2021, by contacting Charles R. Gable, MPA, Borough Manager, either by e-mail, cgable@gettysburgpa.gov, or by telephone, (717) 334-1160, ext. 222. Each registrant for public comment will be provided with an access code to join the public hearing and special meeting through the Zoom platform.
