The Borough Council of the Borough of Gettysburg shall hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, commencing at 6:30 p.m., in the Borough Council Chambers at the Gettysburg Borough Municipal Office Building located at 59 East High Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
The purpose of the public hearing is for the Borough Council to obtain public comment and receive information prior to taking any formal action relative to the possible enactment of a proposed sign ordinance which is intended to supersede, supplant and replace the current Gettysburg Borough Sign Ordinance, codified at Chapter 19, Part 1, Subpart A. of the Borough of Gettysburg Code of Ordinances.
The draft Gettysburg Borough Sign Ordinance of 2023, which is intended to supersede, supplant and replace the current Borough sign ordinance, may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof at the Office of the Borough of Gettysburg from the Borough Secretary during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.). In addition, the draft proposed sign ordinance may be downloaded from the Gettysburg Borough website at www.gettysburgpa.gov.
