Historic Adams County Courthouse Venue for Christmas Concert
A Gettysburg Festival’s “Yuletide Magic” will be held Dec. 7th

Gettysburg, Pa. (Nov. 17, 2019) — Main Street Gettysburg will host “Yuletide Magic” on Dec. 7, 2019 in the beautiful and historic Adams County Courthouse, a first time experience for all. This special concert begins at 6 p.m. with a musical prelude followed by the featured performance. The concert is a fundraiser for “A Gettysburg Christmas Festival” a community-wide event that helps preserve and revitalize Gettysburg, the town.

“This is a very rare opportunity for people to enter one of Gettysburg’s most historic buildings and wrap up their Christmas Festival experience with a beautiful musical experience,” said Main Street Gettysburg President Deb Adamik. “We are thrilled for this amazing opportunity to welcome people into this building at one of the most special times of the year, offering yet another chance to showcase our community and all that it has to offer. We are grateful to Adams County’s leadership for opening the doors to us to create this unique experience.”

The historic courthouse was built in 1858 and witnessed the historic Battle of Gettysburg in 1863.

Capital Blend, a Washington, D.C.-based a cappella group, will headline the holiday-themed concert. They will be preceded by harpist Sharon Knowles and soloist Stephanie Roelker, both from the local area.

Since its founding in 2008, Capital Blend has made a national and international name for itself, performing at the Girl Scout's 100 Year Anniversary, on late-night television on "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee," and in the SING! Toronto music festival. They sing mostly contemporary works, including pop, rock, r&b, and country, and have always been about spreading empowerment through song. Their awards include the CARA Award for Best Song. You can find Capital Blend's music on Spotify or at Capitalblend.com.

Concert tickets for this fundraising event are $50 per person and are extremely limited. They should be purchased in advance at www.AGettysburgChristmasFestival.com. Additional details, about the event and the festival—including parking information—can be found on the website. Attendees will be required to go through security upon entering the courthouse.
