Gettysburg Unveils 2019 Budget with a Proposed Tax Cut

TAX CUT PROPOSED FOR 2019
Borough Manager Charles Gable provided Borough Council with a first draft of the Borough's 2019 Budget Tuesday evening, October 9, 2018. The proposal includes a tax cut of 0.1 mills on assessed property valuation in the Borough. The proposed budget fully funds staffing levels in each department, but does not include any new personnel. Construction projects included in the budget are all three blocks of Broadway, the first block of Culp Street, and all of King Street.
