Governor Wolf to Ease COVID-19 Restrictions

Governor Wolf will relax COVID-19 restrictions effective April 4, 2021. This is in responce to the State's improving COVID-19 positive infection rate, lowering rate of hosptializations, and increased numbers of vaccinations. Some relaxed restrictions include:

  • Restaurants may resume bar service
  • Alcohol service will be allowed without the purchase of food
  • The curfew for removing alcoholic drinks from tables will be lifted
  • Indoor dining capacity will be raised to 75% for restaurants that are currently self-certified and those that undergo the self-certification process
  • Restaurants that are not self-certified may raise capacity to 50%
  • Personal services, gyms, and entertainment facilities (including malls, theatres, casinos) may increase capacity to 75% occupancy
  • Indoor event capacity will be raised to 25% regardless of venue size, and
  • Outdoor event capacity will be raised to 50% regardless of venue size.
