Borough Council to Meet via ZOOM Electronic Platform Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

The Borough Council of the Borough of Gettysburg will hold its monthly general business meeting on Monday, May 11, 2020, commencing at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, to be conducted through telecommunications devices using the remote platform Zoom due to the COVID-19 disaster emergency. The Borough Council meeting will be broadcast via live streaming by Community Media, www.communitymedia.net, as well as via the “Gettysburg Borough” Facebook page and the “Gettysburg Boro Police Department” Facebook page. Gettysburg Borough residents and/or taxpayers of the Borough desiring to participate by providing public comment at the meeting must preregister with the Borough no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, May 11, 2020, by contacting Charles R. Gable, MPA, Borough Manager either by e-mail, cgable@gettysburgpa.gov, or by telephone, (717) 334-1160, ext. 222. Each registrant for public comment will be provided with an access code to join the meeting through the Zoom platform. The purpose of the meeting will be for the Borough Council to consider and authorize its items of general business for the month of May 2020. A proposed agenda for the special meeting will be posted and made available on the Gettysburg Borough website, www.gettysburgpa.gov, on or about Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
